Welcome!

We are analyzing the adaptation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We will look at: 

• the novel (1964); 
• the first film adaptation, Mel Stuart's Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971); 
• the second film adaptation, Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005); 
• and the the sequel to the novel, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator (1972).
